Managing challenging behaviour narrative

The training is in-line with the recommendations from the PBS framework and CQC guidance.

Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is an approach to helping people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health issues who sometimes act in ways that are difficult to manage or present risk. PBS is about understanding each person as an individual and using what we know about how behavior works to help them. When someone acts a certain way, it might be because they’re trying to tell us something they need but can’t express in words. PBS helps us figure out what’s going on, so we can help them better. By doing this, we create person-centred approaches to care.
