The People behind Certified Minds

While working as a ward manager, I became acutely aware of extensive waiting lists for individuals needing mental health support. In today’s healthcare climate, many settings are increasingly required to provide mental health support to employees, students, colleagues, and patients.
This inspired me to establish Certified Minds Limited, a company dedicated to delivering tailored training courses aimed at upskilling the existing workforce and enhancing service quality. Our goal is to empower staff with the confidence to respond effectively to the growing demand for mental health support.
Drawing from my extensive experience in both in-patient units and community mental health settings, as well as my background in teaching, I am passionate about empowering others.
A PASSION FOR SKILL SHARING AND EMPOWERING WORKFORCES.
Certified Minds is a clinician-led company dedicated to promoting skill sharing across healthcare, educational and social care disciplines.
I started this company in response to the significant need to address the growing number of people with mental health issues. Many of which are now seeking assistance or need adjustments in a variety of settings, often due to extensive waiting lists across healthcare services.
Certified Minds has been working with over 25 different NHS paediatric sites to help up-skill and retain staff working with teenagers that are presenting with mental illnesses and behaviours that challenge such as eating disorders and self-harm.
The company has expanded to offering several health, business and social care courses from Mental Health First Aid training and Safeguarding vulnerable people, to educating line managers in how to excel performance in employees who are neurodivergent, manage mental health problems in the workplace and enable their company to be inclusive by making reasonable adjustments.
The ethos of Certified Minds is about equipping participants with the necessary and practical skills that can be taken away and used immediately. The sessions are always interactive, inclusive, competitively priced catered to specific site requirements.
We are passionate about making sure that training is not a tick box exercise and to increase staff confidence when working with a variety of service users.
